WINDSOR, ONT. - The St. Clair College women's softball team moved their record to 14-4 with four wins this weekend at the campus diamond. The Lady Saints dropped Mohawk College (Hamilton) Saturday by scores of 9-4 and 11-0 followed by 5-0 and 3-2 wins over Humber College (Etobicoke) on Sunday.

St. Clair outlasted Mohawk in Saturday's opening game overcoming a slight deficit with Sara Stiller (Windsor/Holy Names) working seven innings for the win on the mound. Alexandra Senft (Windsor/Walkerville) had a home run and two RBIs to lead the Saints offensively. In the mercy shortened second game, Olivia Elliott (Oakville) got her fifth win of the season on the mound for St. Clair with Senft contributing three more hits at the plate.

On Sunday, the Saints scored three runs in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth to blank Humber College in the opener. Elliott earned her sixth win of the season for St. Clair in fine form only surrendering two hits while striking out 11 batters for the complete game shutout. Sarah Bondy (Amherstburg/General Amherst) had a double and an RBI for the Saints at the plate.

Elliott came back to earn the save in the final game of the weekend after relieving Stiller who picked up her sixth win of the season for St. Clair. Megan Lumley (Windsor/Holy Names) had a two hits and a double with two RBIs for the Saints in that game.

The Saints are home Tuesday night against Fanshawe College (4-12) which is being played at Mic Mac Park on Little League Diamond No. 2 with game times of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
