ST. CLAIR'S COFFEY NAMED ALL-CANADIAN GOLFER

AJAX, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's golf team completed round four of the 2022 CCAA Golf National Championships presented by PING on Friday. The event was played at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax, Ont., and was hosted by Durham College. After an hour frost delay in the morning the golfers hit the course in the best conditions of the week even though it was still very windy.

Shannon Coffey (Windsor; Brennan) had a solid round shooting an 82 on the par 72 course to end the tournament in fifth place in Canada. By finishing in the top five she earned CCAA All-Canadian recognition. It is the second time in her three year career she has received the prestigious honour.

In the conference women's competition OCAA Team 2 which Coffey was a member of ended up in fourth place.
