An Impressive Game by the Underdogs as the Fleming Knights Face-off versus the Power House of the Central Division, the Humber Hawks

Peterborough, ON - The Fleming Knights show that they are a formidable opponent against the Hawks battling it out on home turf showing their skilled defense and team's girt as they go 0-2 against the Humber Hawks.

Fleming, who placed 5th in the east received an automatic buy in to the OCAA men's soccer championship tournament as the host, faced off against the undefeated Humber Hawks. Humber who has been undefeated in regular season games for the past four years and ranked first in the Central division of the OCAA.

Although Fleming recognizes that it is the underdog in the match, Fleming ensured it would not be an easy victory for the Hawks. Sam Barratt (Peterborough), Fleming's OCAA all-star and player of the game was almost impenetrable stopping all but two shots on net out of 17.

Defensive was led by veteran players Joyal Gurung (Saffron Walden, England), Aaron Willichuk (Burlington), and Andrew Campbell (town). Offensive for the Knights was led by Duncan Allen (Stouffville), Jordan Cooke-Fenelon (Kenora), and Kayode (Mike) Adebayo (Toronto).

Following this match Fleming moves onto the Consolation round facing the Sheridan Bruins on October 27, at 12 pm.
