DURHAM 3, ST. CLAIR 1

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair men's soccer season came to an end on Sunday afternoon as they dropped their playoff match to the Durham Lords by a score of 3-1 at the Main Campus Field.

On a very windy day it was far from ideal playing conditions for both teams. The Saints had a good first half and took a 1-0 lead into the second half after Stefan Zastavnikovic scored in the 25th minute.

Durham tied things up in the 55th minute on a nice goal. The Lords took the lead in the 76th minute after banking one in off the inside of the post just out of the reach of Saints keeper Shane Beaton. Durham put the game away on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute. St. Clair had 15 shot attempts in the game compared to 11 for Durham.

The Saints ended the regular season in third place in the OCAA West Division with a record of 5-3-2. The St. Clair men have a bright future with 16 new players on the roster this past season.
