BRAMPTON, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's basketball team started their OCAA West Division regular season schedule with an 83-68 loss at Sheridan College in Brampton, Ont., Saturday evening.
Down 25-16 after the opening quarter the Lady Saints were able to close the half down only 40-39. But Sheridan scored 29 points in the 3rd quarter and didn't allow St. Clair back in the game.
2nd year Saints guard Anna Ulicny (Tecumseh, ON/St. Anne) had a good shooting night making 6 triples in the contest on her way to a 21 points with teammate Logan Kucera (Chatham, ON) recording a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The St. Clair women's basketball team continue their regular season schedule Saturday in the home opener against Redeemer University College (Ancaster) with tip time at 2:00pm.
