MOHAWK 1, FANSHAWE 1

LONDON, Ont. - The 1-1 draw the Mohawk women's soccer team got at Fanshawe Saturday would normally be a pretty good result. Unfortunately they needed a win to have a chance at finishing first in the OCAA West Division.

Now the Mountaineers watch to see if they'll finish second. If St. Clair beats Fanshawe Tuesday, then Mohawk would finish third. If Fanshawe defeats or ties St. Clair, then Mohawk will wind up in second place.

In Saturday's contest in London, Fanshawe scored late in the first half, however, Keigan Curran put away a late corner from Daniela Cardillo, and Mohawk had it's saw-off.

The Falcons improved to 8-0-1. The Mountaineers have completed their regular season at 6-1-3.
