HUMBER 3, ST. CLAIR 0

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's volleyball team earned their first loss of the season on Saturday night at the SportsPlex in their OCAA home opener against the top-ranked Humber Hawks.

The Saints lost the match by a score of 3-0. Game scores for Humber were 25-22, 25-16, and 25-22.

Middle Jessica Masse had a solid game for St. Clair with five kills, three stuff blocks and one dig. Libero Julie Ann had a great defensive game with 17 digs.

With the loss the Saints are now 2-1 on the season. The St. Clair women are currently ranked fifth in Ontario. The win improved Humber's record to 3-0. The Hawks were ranked first in Ontario and fifth in Canada heading into the match.

The women are next in action on Friday, Nov. 10 when the host the Sheridan Bruins at the SportsPlex at 6 pm. Sheridan is 2-0 on the season and are ranked seventh in Ontario. The match will be live streamed on www.we-tv.ca.
