WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's volleyball team improved their OCAA record to 5-2 on the season defeating the Cambrian Golden Shield at the SportsPlex on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints won the match by a score of 3-0. Game scores for St. Clair were 25-17, 25-19 and 25-22.

It was a solid all around team effort by St. Clair. Te-Anna Stephenson (Whitby) led the way offensively with 15 kills, one service ace, one stuff block and 15 digs. Middle Jessica Masse (Cottam) had a great match as well with seven kills, one service ace, two stuff blocks and three digs. Libero Julie Ann Milling had a great game with four assists and 18 digs.

The St. Clair women are currently ranked sixth in Ontario. The loss dropped Cambrian's record to 3-4 on the season.

The women are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they host the Collége Boréal Vipères at noon at the SportsPlex in their final home match of the semester. The game will also be shown live on YourTV Windsor (Channel 11 or 700HD).
