ST. CLAIR AT SHERIDAN

The St. Clair College volleyball teams will begin the second half of their OCAA schedule on the road this weekend as they travel to the GTA area to take on the Sheridan Bruins and the Humber Hawks.

The St. Clair women are currently 6-3 on the season and ranked fourth in Ontario. Two of the three losses were five-set heartbreakers with the Saints having match points in both games. St. Clair's offence has been spread out well by setter Kim Quintanilla with five players averaging over two points per set. Even though the Saints don't have anyone in the Top 15 in scoring Quintanilla is second in the OCAA with 8.55 assists per set. Libero Julie Ann Milling (Woodstock) leads the OCAA with 119 digs.

On Saturday, the Saints will take on the Sheridan Bruins in Oakville. The Bruins are 5-4 on the year and ranked seventh in Ontario. The Saints defeated Sheridan 3-1 on Nov. 10 in Windsor. St. Clair will be in Etobicoke on Sunday to take on the top-ranked Humber Hawks. Humber is 9-0 on the season and ranked first in Ontario and fourth in Canada. The Hawks defeated the Saints 3-0 on Nov. 4 at the SportsPlex.

The St. Clair men are currently 5-4 on the season and ranked eighth in Ontario. St. Clair's offence has been spread out very well with five players averaging over two points per set.

The Saints defeated the Hawks 3-1 on Nov. 4 at the SportsPlex.

Both of the matches against Humber will be live streamed online with the women's match at 1 p.m. followed by the men's at 3 p.m.
