Fanshawe captured the national bronze medal with an 8-7 victory over NAIT. Earlier, the Falcons dropped a tough 7-5 decision to Red Deer in the semi-final. The Falcons had finished first in the round robin with a 6-1 record. Isabelle Allan (Carp) and Sara Westman (St. Thomas) were named Championship All-Stars. Fanshawe has been awarded a national medal at five of the last six championships.
