The Sheridan Bruins went undefeated in the opening women's rugby sevens tournament on Sept. 16, going 2-0-1. Sheridan tied Algonquin 10-10 to start things off, then defeated Seneca 15-12 in a rematch of last year's OCAA bronze medal match. Sheridan ended the day defeating Mohawk 22-20. It's the first time Sheridan has been over .500 in sevens play, going 3-13 during the 2016 campaign.
