Seneca won its first-ever provincial championship in women's rugby sevens, blanking defending champion Humber 15-0 in the gold medal match. Seneca was the first team to shut out Humber, which scored a league-high 531 points during the regular season. First-year fly half Julia Fantin (Collingwood) and fifth-year scrum half Sarah Givens (Harrowsmith) scored tries, and were named Championship All-Stars.
