Anita Kralt of Millgrove, Ont., is a physically
fit athlete who demonstrates dedication, commitment and a love of
sports for the Redeemer Royals. She has the ability to carry a team
with her skills, and can lift a team's spirit with her teamwork and
by sharing a smile.
Anita is a very coachable, hard working individual who will do
whatever it takes to help her team improve as a whole. As her
confidence as an athlete increases, her humility remains a
constant. She is a dedicated student with her grade point average
placing her on the Deans Honour Roll.
"Anita's athleticism and versatility shine within the penalty box
on the soccer field and both on the offensive and defensive ends of
the basketball court. Anita exemplifies a true team leader and
motivator, anticipating a positive result at the end of the game
regardless of the score," says Frances
Manias-Jackson of Redeemer University College.
Anita was named an OCAA soccer all-star as well as the top
goalkeeper in the Central West region. She also led Redeemer to a
Central West region championship in women's indoor soccer. In
basketball, Anita averaged 17.2 points per game during the 2000-01
season.
