Jacob was instrumental in Durham's season opening men's rugby victory in Kingston on Sept. 14. A 2018 OCAA League All-Star, Jacob picked up right where he left off last season, scoring two tries and kicking four successful converts for a match-high 18 points in Durham's 28-10 victory at St. Lawrence. The powerful and speedy centre scored five tries and kicked three converts last season as Durham captured the OCAA championship. Since losing to St. Lawrence to open the 2018 season, Durham has won eight straight OCAA matches.
