In the opening competition day for women's rugby sevens at Loyalist on Sept. 21, Seymour had a fantastic OCAA debut on the pitch. The first-year back scored six tries and a convert in four matches, helping lift Algonquin to a 3-1 record to begin its season. Seymour scored Algonquin's lone try in a 12-5 loss to Durham. She then scored three tries while nailing a convert in a 27-7 win over Fleming. Seymour added additional tries against St. Lawrence and Loyalist, both victories. Algonquin is idle along with its East Division counterparts until Oct. 5 when East meets West at Fleming.
