With six games under her belt this past week, Leader was an offensive force for Conestoga with a batting average of .500. She scored seven times, belted two triples and a home run, and drove in six RBIs. In addition, Leader made some key plays on defence. Overall, the third-year shortstop is third among OCAA players with a .464 batting average. Her contributions this week have kept the Condors in the playoff hunt. Conestoga (8-8) currently trail Fanshawe (10-8) for the final post-season spot, with these teams meeting in a doubleheader on Friday.
