Vilela, the reigning OCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Year, scored eight goals in two matches to lift George Brown to its first two victories of the regular season. Vilela scored five goals against Cambrian on Sept. 28 in an 8-1 victory, which tied him for the most goals scored in a single OCAA match this season. The following day, Vilela netted a hat trick in an 8-1 win over Sault. Vilela's eight goal outburst lifts him into contention for another OCAA scoring championship, a title he has claimed the past two seasons. He is within one goal from a third straight season of 10 goals or more.
