Battye did it all for the Seneca Sting in a doubleheader sweep over the Humber Hawks on Oct. 2. The first-year outfielder went 2-for-3 in the opening game, scoring the tying run in the top of the seventh. He then hit a two-run double in the top of the eighth as Seneca won 5-2. In the second game, Battye pitched a six-out save, allowing one hit and striking out three. Battye also went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored as Seneca prevailed 6-0. It marked Humber's first two defeats of the season. The Sting improved to 5-1, winners of four straight contests.
