Freeland is now a two-time All-Canadian, running in an eight kilometre time of 25:32 at the 2021 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Cross-Country Running National Championships in Calgary, Alta. Freeland finished just short of the podium in fourth place individually, but was an integral part of the Fanshawe Falcons winning the national men's team title for a second straight season. Freeland, who was a bronze medalist at last month's provincials and 2019 nationals, is also a two-time member of the All-Ontario First-Team.
