On Sept. 11 in Windsor, McLean established a new OCAA women's softball record for most RBI in a single game with eight, surpassing the previous record of seven held by three players. In Fanshawe's 15-3 victory over Lambton, the second-year nursing student went 4-for-4, with three runs, two doubles and topped it off with a three-run walk-off home run (invoking the mercy rule). The previous day, the shortstop went 3-for-6 with three runs and three RBI in a pair of wins against Seneca and Sheridan. Fanshawe begins the new season 3-1.
