Taking the rubber for the Humber Hawks on Sept. 10 for the first time since the 2018 season, Murphy did not allow a hit to Lambton, throwing the sixth no-hitter in program history. The big righty fired five shutout frames, striking out 10 batters and issuing three walks in a decisive 14-0 victory. Murphy, an OCAA League All-Star in 2021, also went 2-for-3 at the plate including a double, scoring twice while driving in a run. Humber currently sits in a dead heat atop the OCAA standings with three other teams with a record of 3-1.
