Lynch was named Championship MVP as the Durham Lords won their third OCAA men's rugby championship in four seasons. The fourth-year prop/hooker was a key factor in Durham's 31-17 victory over the Georgian Grizzlies on Nov. 5. Durham jumped out to a 28-3 advantage and never looked back, completing a perfect 6-0 season and taking the gold medal. Along with the Championship MVP award, Lynch was also honoured post-match as an OCAA League All-Star and has been a member of the Lords for all three of their championship teams.
