Bender was the leader in pushing Conestoga to a one win, one loss week against opponents ranked in the top three. On Nov. 16, the Condors pushed undefeated Humber to a fifth set for the first time all season with the Bender-led Condors falling just short in a 3-2 loss. Having to look forward, Bender picked up where the fifth-year senior and team captain left off guiding the young Condor squad to 3-1 decisive victory over Mohawk on Nov. 19. Bender accumulated 26 total points and 24 total digs averaging a volleyball double-double in the two matches.
