Debbie Coxworth was a defenceman and goaltender for the Seneca College women's hockey team in the first half of the 1980s.

Coxworth was among the Top 10 in scoring during the 1980-81 season with seven goals and six assists. She scored another eight goals while assisting on six others other during the 1981-82 season. Debbie was named an OCAA Championship All-Star as Seneca received the OCAA silver medal.

Coxworth rejoined the Seneca Scouts in 1983-84, this time between the pipes. Debbie won the first of two OCAA titles, allowing just one goal in four games at the championship that season. The following year, Coxworth had a goals against average of 1.00 at the championship as Seneca successfully defended its crown.

During her time in the crease, Coxworth set a pair of OCAA regular season records, including 10 shutouts, and lowest goals against average.

Debbie is a member of the OCAA Women's Hockey All-Millennium team.
