Keith McKinnon was a forward on the Algonquin College men's hockey team for two seasons in the early 1970s.

Algonquin won a pair of East regional championships with McKinnon as one of the team's top scorers, advancing to provincials in both 1970-71 and 1971-72. Algonquin lost the 1970-71 title game 3-2 to Northern (Kirkland Lake). Both seasons, Keith was named an OCAA League All-Star.

McKinnon hit the century mark in OCAA career points, scoring 33 goals while contributing 67 assists.

Keith is a member of the OCAA Men's Hockey All-Millennium team.
