Wendy Mabson, elected to the Mountaineer Hall of Fame in 1999, competed in two varsity sports, badminton and tennis, during her three years at Mohawk.

Mabson and badminton partner Brad Paul captured OCAA gold medals in 1986 and again in 1987. She also won an OCAA mixed doubles silver medal in 1988. Nationally, Mabson also found success claiming a CCAA silver medal in 1986 and a CCAA gold medal in 1987.

Wendy was named Mohawk's All-Round Female Athlete in 1986, 1987 and 1988 and Coaches Award winner with Brad Paul in 1986.

Mabson was named a member of the OCAA Badminton All-Millenium Team.
