Rosemary Smyth was the coach of the women's volleyball team at St. Clair College from 1979 to 1996.

During her time as coach she had an overall record of 210-149 with a winning percentage of .709. She also had four OCAA medals while coaching the Saints with two silver medals in 1982-83 and 1994-95 and a bronze in 1979-80 and 1993-94. She also made two CCAA appearances in 1982-83 and 1994-95 finishing fifth in 1982-83.

While at St. Clair she was also involved in being an intramural coordinator for 20 years and an athletic coordinator for four years from 1997-98 to 2000-01.

Throughout her time at St. Clair she coached three CCAA All-Canadians (Beth Brannagan two times and Noelle Browning). She was also named OCAA coach of the year three times.
