Sting Start Strong Before Panthers Roar Back

The Seneca Sting (3-9) fell to the Canadore Panthers (8-5) in four sets 25-19, 19-25, 23-25, 20-25.

The Sting started the match my scoring ten of the first elevent points, taking a 10-1 lead. The Sting would capture the opening set, but it was all Panthers for the remainder of the match as the Sting dropped the final three sets.

David Lazarev paced the Sting with 14 kills to go along with 9 digs. Muneer Al Salem finished with 11 kills while Avinash Juvarajan added 8 kills and 7 digs. Richard Ngo topped the Sting with 25 digs while Winson Lee had 39 assists.

James Heslinga led the Panthers with 18 kills. Braiden Coughlin had 7 kills, 12 digs, 3 blocks and 3 aces. Nylan Maisonneuve led the team with 14 digs and Cameron Daniels had 35 assists, 9 digs and 4 blocks.
