The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team hosted the Durham Lords on Friday night at the Georgian Athletic Centre in Barrie.
The Lords outpowered the Grizzlies pulling away to a 73-42 win.
Kelsey Dunkeld (Barrie) led the Grizzlies with 16 points and eight rebounds while teammate Cassidy Warren-Timpano (Barrie) had 12 points giving her double-digits in scoring in three consecutive games.
The Grizzlies will begin a lengthy road stretch starting next weekend against the UTM Eagles and against Algonquin (Feb. 8).
Georgian will play their final home game of the regular season on Friday, Feb. 14 when they host the Centennial Colts. The women's game gets underway at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
