OTTAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team maintained their 20 match undefeated streak versus OCAA east opponents in defeating the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday afternoon in the 2019-20 OCAA regular season opener in Ottawa. Set scores were 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22.
The Lords have no time to rest as they continue the start of the regular season tomorrow afternoon in Ottawa with a showdown versus the La Cite Coyotes. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the game being streamed on

• Fourth-year outside hitter
Allyson Terwillegar (Enniskillen, Ont.) recorded a team-high 16 points in the season opener, tallying nine kills, five service aces, and two blocks.
• Fellow outside hitter
Althea Boncheff (Alliston, Ont.) also broke into the double-digits with 10 points from six kills, three aces, and a block
• 2018-19 OCAA all-star libero
Devyn Fraser (Uxbridge, Ont.) and Terwillegar led the Lords with a team-high 10 digs each.
• Second-year setter and 2018-19 OCAA all-rookie
Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) provided a nice one-two punch of 34 assists on the offensive end and four service aces.
