Panthers bounce back against Knights

(Oshawa, ON) – The Canadore Panthers women’s volleyball team head down south for a couple matches. First stop for the Panthers was in Oshawa, ON against Durham Lords.

The first two sets didn’t go as plan for the Panthers as they drop both 14-25, 16-26. Having dropped both sets, The Panthers look to bounce back in the third set.

Carlie Pappano (North Bay, ON) leading the way with a team high 10 kills, helped Canadore pull out a very close back-and-forth third set win 26-24.

The Lords offence power of 43 kills as a team, was to much for the Panthers to handle. Canadore drops the fourth set 25-17.

Next for the Panther will be at Fleming Knights on Nov. 6. First serve is slated for 12 p.m. and will be streamed live on OCAA LIVE.

 

(Peterborough, ON) – After a tough battle with the Durham Lords, the Canadore Panthers women’s volleyball team look to bounce back against the Knights.

With a strong start to the first set, leaded by Carlie Pappano (North Bay, ON) the Panthers came out with a 25-16 set win.

Going in to set two and three, the Panthers had all momentum on offence and defense. Canadore finished the game with a 3-0 win. Second year setter Logan Thompson (North Bay, ON) finished the game with 23 assists, 2 serve aces and 5 digs.

The Panthers as a team lead the match with 28 kills, 12 serves aces and 38 digs.

Next for the Panthers will be at home to take on Seneca Sting on Nov. 12. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. and will be streamed live on OCAA LIVE.
