MEN'S VOLLEYBALL IMPRESS IN WIN OVER THUNDER
Gibson Graham continued his fine season on Friday helping lead the Grizzlies to a big 3-1 win over Algonquin on Friday night.
The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team hosted the Algonquin Thunder on Friday night at the Georgian Athletic Centre in Barrie.
It was an incredibly tight game in the men's game with each set coming down to the wire.
The Grizzlies were able to take the match 3-1 on set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 27-29 and 25-18.
Kaelan Kloetstra had another fantastic game leading the Grizzlies with 15 kills and five blocks for a 20-point game.
The London native currently sits in sixth overall in the OCAA averaging 4.6 points-per-set.
Teammate Gibson Graham (Markham) continues to impress this season as he posted 36 assists, five kills, four aces and four blocks for a 13-point game.
The Grizzlies snapped their two-game losing streak and improved their record to 5-2 on the season as they sit in fourth place in the OCAA east division standings.
Georgian will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 30 when they host the La Cite Coyotes at the Georgian Athletic Centre. The women's game gets underway at 1 p.m. which is followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.
