Despite dropping the first set of the match, Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball pieced it together to beat the Conestoga Condors 3-1 (22-25, 27-25, 25-19, 25-14).

The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Mountaineers.

Head coach Brad McClure explained what went right for Mohawk to get the win.

"I think we're always looking to perform, but we did a great job of staying engaged and focused throughout the entire match," McClure said.

Joel Sloots (Hamilton, ON) contributed a team-high 15 kills and Anthony Beijes (Hamilton, ON) added 12 of his own. Peter Pilling (St. Catharines, ON) was fantastic, finishing with a season-high 36 assists.

Mohawk will be back home for their next match on Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. when they host the Humber Hawks.
