LANCERS WIN SECOND STRAIGHT GAME

LANCERS WIN SECOND STRAIGHT GAME

The Lancers downed the George Brown Huskies 3-1 to secure their second straight victory.

After coming up just short in the first set (25-22) the now 5-6 Lancers battled back to win the second 25-21. Carrying the momentum for the remainder of the game, the Lancers closed out the third and fourth sets also with a score of 25-21.

Fourth year Lancer Josh Roberts led his team in scoring with 14 kills, 2 blocks and an ace for 17 total points. First year left side Riley Litwiller lit up the service line with his incredibly tough spin serve that earned him three aces and countless out of system plays from the Huskies. Litwiller also has 9 kills and 2 blocks for 14 points overall.

First year middle Andrew Hudgins had yet another standout performance with 9 kills, 2 blocks and an ace for 12 points. Hudgins has shown incredible growth and development in his first season in the OCAA and despite the long holiday break, has continued to push himself to get better with every passing game.

The Lancers hit the road again on January 25th for their Northern road trip where they will take on the Georgian Grizzlies and Canadore Panthers.
