Box Score OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter in a 105-103 overtime victory over the Georgian Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
 
Tied at 103-103 with 30 seconds left on the clock, Dondre Huggins (Scarborough, Ont.) came up with a big block to keep Georgian from taking the lead. Durham would get the ball back and end up sending Brandon Halliburton (Brampton, Ont.) to the line with 7.7 seconds remaining. Playing with ice in his veins, Halliburton drained both shots to give the Lords the lead.
 
Georgian would desperately try and get the ball up the court for an attempt to either tie or win the game, but the Lords defence would stand strong and not allow them to get up another shot.

Halliburton played every minute of the game and ended up with a team-high 29 points, including going 11-for-13 from the free throw line.
 
Also playing every minute was Funsho Dimeji (Malton, Ont.) and Huggins. Dimeji had 21 points and a season-high 19 rebounds while Huggins had 24 points and nine rebounds. This was Dimeji's fourth straight double-double.
 
The Lords had trouble containing Anthony Meggo and Connor Laronde who had 32 and 29 points respectively.
 
­One of the keys to victory for Durham was their play on the glass as they held a 58-34 advantage in rebounds. The Lords also had 27 second chance points while Georgian had none.
 
Durham is 5-1 to start the season and are among the top teams in the OCAA east region. George Brown (5-0), Georgian (4-2), Seneca (4-0) and Centennial (3-1) are also in the mix for first place early in the season.
 
Durham's next action will come against the Loyalist Lancers (1-2) on the road on Friday night. Tip off in Belleville is 8 p.m.
