OSHAWA, Ont. - After winning the 2018 OCAA championship in their return season last fall, the Durham College men's rugby team are in prime position once again after clinching the east division crown for a second consecutive season after defeating the St. Lawrence Vikings 64-12 on Saturday afternoon at Thompson Rugby Park.
Prior to the start of the match the Lords honoured graduating seniors:

Taylor Dallas (Port Perry, Ont.),
Hayden Parkins (Oshawa, Ont.),
Ty Jacob (Courtice, Ont.), and
Malcolm Hooper (Orangeville, Ont.).
On the pitch, Jacob was incredible in the regular season finale, totaling a single-game total of 29 points with three tries and seven converts.
Dallas and Parkins each added a pair of tries to the scoresheet, while
Devon Parson (Caesarea, Ont.),
Jackson MacIntosh (Brooklin, Ont.), and
Jordon Henry (Whitby, Ont.) all added single markers.
After finishing first in the east the Lords have earned a bye to the OCAA semifinals, scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 2-3. The Lords will host a team at Thompson Rugby Park following the quarter-final round.
