(London, Ontario) – On Friday evening in Windsor, second-year Falcons pitcher Morgan Lowry (Middlesex-Centre) moved her record to 2-0 on the season with an incredible performance.

Lowry tied the OCAA Women's Softball record for most strikeouts in a single game with 17, as she pitched a complete game in Fanshawe's 4-2 win over Conestoga. This is also a new Fanshawe Falcons Softball team record and individual record, breaking Nichole Erb's 12 set in 2018-19.

The Falcons (3-3) will face Conestoga again on Tuesday, September 28 at Stronach Park. The doubleheader will take place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
