HUSKIES TAKE OUT LOYALIST

The men's volleyball team began the 2024 part of the season on a high rolling through the Loyalist Lancers 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17) on the road (Jan. 13) Saturday afternoon.

The win marks the team's sixth victory in their last seven matches.

Notable Stats: In his season debut for the Huskies, second-year outside hitter David Kiswa was on fire as he posted a match-high 19 points off 13 kills, four service aces and two blocks. First-year outside hitter David Froebel recorded nine points on eight kills and a block, while first-year outside hitter Ken Nguyen chipped in with eight points on six kills, two blocks and four digs.

First-year setter Noah Park registered a match-high 35 assists and three points, while fourth-year middle Kobe John posted seven points in three kills, three blocks and a service ace. 

George Brown's records improve to 8-4, which puts them in fourth in the East Division.

UP NEXT: The Huskies hit the road again on Thursday (Jan. 18) night to battle the Durham Lords. First serve is at 8pm.
