LANCERS IMPROVE TO 3-0

The men's basketball improved their record to 3-0 with a dominant performance over the visiting St. Lawrence Surge Tuesday night. 

Playing at home for the first time this season, the Lancers took the lead from the very first bucket and never gave it up. They outshot the Surge 22-9 in the first quarter before expanding their lead to 26 at the half. The Lancers faltered in the third and were outscored 26-18 but held onto an 18-point lead. A strong fourth quarter pushed the Lancers to a commanding 90-66 final decision for their third straight win. With 12 players contributing considerable points to the game, the home town fans were witness to the full depth of the 2022-2023 Lancer squad. Players coming off the bench combined for 40 points while veteran started Maleek Ekumba-Quinta was the team's leading scorer with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.

The Lancers are back in action on Friday November 11th when get back on the road with a trip to Oshawa to take on the Durham Lords.
