LANCERS HEADED TO PLAYOFFS

The Lancers wrapped up regular season play in Ottawa with a tough loss against the Algonquin Thunder.

Third year veteran Brittany Mason continued her reign as leading scorer for the Lancers with her 7th double-double performance of the year. Mason recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds and was perfect from the foul line, going 10 for 10 in her final regular season game. 

First year Lancer Andrea Salazar contributed 11 points and 3 assists while fellow rookie Ayana Tomlinson added 9. 

With the loss, the Lancers finish 6-10 on the season, which puts them in 5th place in the OCAA's East Division and into the playoff mix. 

To move onto the OCAA Women's Basketball Championship tournament, the Lancers need to come out on top of a cross over game against the OCAA West division's second place, Fanshawe Falcons. The game will take place on Saturday February 29th in London.
