The last time the women's volleyball team played a regular season match was on February 14th 2020, when they defeated the Seneca Sting 3-0. Fast forward to almost two years to the day, the Huskies almost copied that type of performance as they shutout the Fleming Knights 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-14) to open their 2022 season on Friday night.

NOTABLE STATS: The theme of this match was a balanced attack by the Huskies. First-year left side hitter Emily Braam had a game-high seven points off of two kills, four aces and a block in her Huskies debut. Fourth-year outside hitter Angelique Agustin was right behind Braam with six points on three kills, two aces and a block, while adding four digs.

Nicole Agustin, Megi Memcaj and Crystal Nguyen all chipped in with four points in the victory. The defence was anchored by third-year libero/outside hitter Ashley Lau who had a match-high six digs.
