VAUGHAN - No. 2 Humber men's soccer extended its win streak to three to begin the season with a win over George Brown (1-2, 3rd Central) Wednesday evening, 3-1. The Hawks dominated possession from start to finish, out-shooting the Huskies, 18-5.

The Hawks got on the board in the 17th minute when Luca Uccello's corner kick found the head of captain Michael Fayehun in the box. Fayehun's header rattled off the crossbar and former Ranger FC star Luca Gasparratto banged home his first career OCAA goal.

Humber had a couple more scoring opportunities in the opening half, but Huskies keeper Felix Ofori made four saves to keep Humber's lead to one after 45 minutes of action.

Humber was finally able to get on the board again in the 67th minute when Leaford Allen intercepted a pass and unleashed a one-hopper on the net but Ofori made a sprawling save but Marcos Nunes was in the perfect position to score his fourth goal of the season.

With five minutes left in the match, Jacob Rodrigues made a pass to Nunes at the top of the box and Nunes made a quick pass to Karamvir Mehmi for his first career goal.

As time was about to expire, a defensive miscue by the Hawks led to a goal from Anas El-Bogi, ending the clean sheet for keeper Ezequiel Carrasco
