COYOTES TOP LANCERS

The Women's volleyball team was back in action Sunday in a single matchup against th La Cite Coyotes. This was the second day fans were allowed in attendance and the Lancerdome was loud and proud cheering on the hometeam. The first set was back and fourth between the two teams with La Cite just edging out the Lancers 28-26. Brighton Mathieson had a great first set. The second set was another close one as La Cite took it 26-24. The Lancers looked to get in the win column starting off with a huge 12-3 lead in the third set. La Cite slowly marched their way back into the set but the Lancers were able to secure the victory 25-18. La Cite started the fourth set with a substantial lead with Loyalist making a comeback late. Unfortunately it was too late and the Lancers fell in the fourth set 25-19. 

Standout players were Sierra Scott, Erika Robertson and Brighton Mathieson. Alexandra Mccallum had a very impressive showing as well,making the best of her time in the game. It was a great showing from the Lancers as they look to get back in the win column.
