OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team remains one of only two undefeated teams in the OCAA after dropping the George Brown Huskies 3-0 on Thursday night at home.
Allison Marshall (Orillia, Ont.) continued to be a leader offensively for the Lords, picking up 10 kills and two aces in the match.
Both offensively and defensively
Lucia Kalmeyer (Oshawa, Ont.) was key for Durham, with seven kills, an ace and seven digs.
Splitting time running the offence,
Megan Romain (Ajax, Ont.) and
Camille Lefaive (Whitby, Ont.) had a combined 36 assists. Romain also ended with a match-high five aces.
The team's leader in points-per-set,
Shannon Dean (Whitby, Ont.), finished with nine kills.
For George Brown, Julia Vit had five kills to lead the Huskies. Pao Ming Lee had a team-high six points (four kills and two aces).
Durham will now host the Centennial Colts (5-2) on Thursday, Dec. 1 in their final home game of the first half of the season. First serve is 6 p.m. at the CRWC.
