OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham Lords men's baseball team earned a tightly contested 2-0 game one win, before falling 14-1 in game two of their Wednesday night doubleheader versus the visiting George Brown Huskies.

With the split, the Lords move to 4-4 on the season, placing them fourth in the OCAA.. Durham continues their home-stand this Saturday, Sept 22 when they welcome the Fanshawe Falcons to Kinsmen Stadium in the Skyzone Whitby game of the week. First pitch in the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.

Game 1
• Eight of the ten Lords batters recorded a hit.
•
Max Mocon (Bracebridge, Ont.) and
Connor May (Oshawa, Ont.) both recorded RBI doubles, coming in the second and sixth respectively.
• Tyler Doney led the Huskies going two-for-three from the plate.

Game 2
•
Brian Wowk (Oshawa, Ont.) picked up the lone Lords RBI in the fifth inning.
•
Aidan Ali (Whitby, Ont.) broke up the no-hitter bid in the fifth and final inning, producing the only hit for Durham in the second contest.
• Dallas Pearce blasted five RBI for the Huskies, going three-for-three at the plate.

Game 1
•
Jake Legros (Whitby, Ont.) earned his second win of the season, pitching a complete game shutout. He joins teammate
Alec Brown (Bowmanville, Ont.) as the only pitchers in the OCAA to have two complete game wins and records of 2-0.
• Legros allowed just five hits and walked one batter, while striking out six.
• Huskies starter Quinten Fleming pitched five innings, allowing one earned run on six hits. David DeCassan delivered one inning of relief, allowing one earned run on two hits.

Game 2
•
Alex Hodgson (Ajax, Ont.) drew the start for the Lords, but was only able to last 2.1 innings, allowing four hits and three earned runs.

Eric Beharri (Burlington, Ont.),
Reagan Manley (Peterborough, Ont.), and
Riley Gray (Caledonia, Ont.) all appeared in relief.
• Huskies pitcher John Luke Lamanna cruised in the five inning victory, allowing just one hit and one earned run, while striking out four.
