Box Score NORTH BAY, Ont. - Being taken beyond the fourth set for the first time this season, the No. 6 nationally ranked Durham College women's volleyball team won an exciting five set match versus the Canadore Panthers in North Bay on Sunday afternoon.
The Lords were put to the test by the OCAA east rival Panthers, dropping a set in an OCAA regular season contest for the first time since the season opener versus Algonquin on Oct. 19. Trailing 2-1 after three sets, DC battled back to win two straight sets, including extra points in the fifth and most exciting set, securing their 12th win to remain undefeated on the season. Set scores were 15-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-16, 18-16.
Durham will next return home to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre where they will host the La Cite Coyotes on Saturday, Jan. 25 and the aforementioned Algonquin Thunder on Sunday, Jan. 26. The Saturday afternoon showdown will start at 4 p.m., while the Sunday contest begins at 1 p.m. All the action will be streamed on

• Veteran outside hitter
Allyson Terwillegar (Enniskillen, Ont.) was a driving force for DC in the win, finishing with a team-high 13 points from 10 kills and three blocks.Â
• Lords first-year outside hitter
Haley Bickell (Winnipeg, Man.) also cracked double-digit points with 11 kills, while
Cassidy Nicholson-Clarke (Ajax, Ont.) scored 11 points from six kills, two aces, and three blocks to round out the double-digit performances..

Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) registered 34 assists.
• Three DC players recorded double-digit digs in the hardest test of the season, led by returning second-year libero
Hannah Amos (Whitby, Ont.) with 12, and Williams and Joensen with 10 apiece.
