No. 7 Lords yet to find an equal

OSHAWA, Ont. – Through seven regular season contests so far, the Durham College men's volleyball team are yet to be tested, earning their fifth straight sets win in defeating the Centennial Colts in Scarborough on Monday night. Set scores were 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Ranked No. 7 in the country ahead of the most recent rankings update tomorrow afternoon, the Lords took advantage of Colts service errors, while securing a number of service runs of their own. Six Lords players recorded five or more points in the win.
 
Durham will finish the first semester of competition with one more road game before returning home to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre. DC will travel to Peterborough next Thursday, Nov. 28 to challenge the Fleming Knights, before welcoming the Canadore Panthers to the CRWC on Sunday, Dec. 1. First serve for the road contest next Thursday is set for 8 p.m. with the match being streamed on OCAA LIVE.
  Andrew Dube (Uxbridge, Ont.) led the Lords in scoring for the third consecutive match, notching a game-high 12 points from 12 kills.
• Both Lucas Pichl (Cobourg, Ont.) and James Hirt (Scarborough, Ont.) recorded seven points in the win, with Pichl registering five kills, one ace and one block, while Hirt added four kills, two aces and one block.
• Timothy Ho led the charge in the loss for the Colts with 10 points from eight kills and two blocks.
  Liam Gray (Barrie, Ont.) was once again leaned on to guide the DC offence finishing with 25 assists, while adding three kills, two aces and four digs defensively.
• Javed Baksh had a decent night for Centeniial finishing with 23 total assists, while adding two service aces and five digs.
  Overall Record: 16-4 (W-L)
