OTTAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team lost their third game by under 10 points on Friday night, this time to the Algonquin Thunder.
After winning their opening game of the year 83-72, the Lords have lost their last four, three of which were by less than 10 points. The Thunder edged them 83-78 on Friday in their first meeting of the season.
The Thunder are a team that the Lords have struggled against all-time, currently sitting with a 20-45 record against Algonquin.
Tomorrow Durham will have a chance to right the ship as they face the La Cité Coyotes in the nation's capital. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Brandon Halliburton (Brampton, Ont.) had a team-high 24 points, but it was
Shamar Lewis (Toronto, Ont.) with the only double-double of the night with 17 points and 11 boards.
• Simon Desta led the Thunder's offence with the game-high 27 points.
• Alongside Lewis' 11 boards,
Craig Hanson (Ajax, Ont.) brought in nine for the Lords. Lewis also picked up two blocks.
• The Lords out rebounded the Thunder 40-21 in the game, with Algonquin's top rebounder being David Tshimanga with six.
