NORTH BAY, Ont. – After a relatively close opening set, the Durham College women's volleyball team rolled over the Canadore Panthers in an easy sweep on Sunday afternoon.
The Lords are now a perfect 11-0 in conference play this season, going ahead two games on the second-place Panthers. Of note, Durham has only lost three sets all season, losing individual sets to Algonquin, Canadore and Centennial in the first semester of play.
With seven matches remaining Durham College will look to maintain the top spots in the east region and host their championship qualifying match at home at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre.
Next weekend the Lords road swing continues as they travel to Ottawa for their annual trip against the Algonquin Thunder and La Cité Coyotes.

Jessica Joensen (Pickering, Ont.) continued her hot start to 2019, leading the Lords in back-to-back matches with 11 kills and two aces for 13 points in the match.

Allyson Terwillegar (Enniskillen, Ont.) had a team high three aces, alongside four kills, while
Althea Boncheff (Alliston, Ont.) finished with six kills.

Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) quarterbacked the offence with 16 assists, while also finishing with nine digs defensively.
• Boncheff had another solid match defensively, earning a team high 11 digs.
