OSHAWA, Ont. – In one of their best performances of the season so far, the Durham College men's basketball team dismantled the Fleming Knights 87-56 on Tuesday night in front of their home crowd at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
Six players recorded seven or more points in the impressive home victory, with 13 DC players seeing time on the court. The Lords shot nearly 50 percent from the field as a team, outscoring the Knights 62-18 in the paint and 34-2 in bench scoring.
Durham next heads to Scarborough on Wednesday, Nov. 20 where they will challenge the 4-3 Centennial Colts. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. with the game being streamed on
OCAA LIVE.

Romareo Stephenson (Markham Ont.) once again led the way with a game-high 24 points, in just 22 minutes of action. Stephenson was an efficient scorer finishing 11-for-16 from the field.
• Three more Lords cracked double-digits in
Josiya Lowe (Brampton, Ont.),
Fioti Mabanza (Whitby, Ont.), and
Esmail Danso (Toronto, Ont.) who recorded 12, 11, and 10 respectively.
• Romain McCalla was a bright spot for the Knights in the loss, registering a team-high 21 points.
• Mabanza was all over the place for DC serving as a facilitator and defensive stopper. He added eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks to his stat line on the night.
• Stephenson also had a good all-around performance recording five rebounds, three assists, four steals, and one block for the green and gold.
